Avi Frisch volunteered at the Legal Aid Society of New York, providing consultation and representation to victims of mortgage fraud and deed theft.

Avi has also volunteered representing immigrants in deportation, family-based petitions, and youth representation matters.

While in law school, Avi was the managing editor of the Columbia Journal of Environmental Law, where he engaged with academics and the public to provide access to tools and resources aimed at assisting in long-range plans and programs for legal protection of the environment.
